Returns
We want you to feel fully satisfied with your MIKA purchase. If you wish to return or exchange an item, you have 14 days from the date of delivery. Items must be unused, in original condition, with all tags attached, and returned in the original packaging.
Return shipping cost
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, except in cases of exchanges and approved claims. The cost of return shipping varies depending on your location and will be deducted before the refund is issued.
As a guideline, the cost of return shipping with a label provided by us is usually around 99 SEK within Sweden, and 15 EUR for EU, USA and Norway.
The exact amount will always be communicated and confirmed before you decide to proceed with your return.
How to Start a Return
- Email support@mikaatelier.com with your order number, full name, and reason for your return.
- Wait for our return instructions. If your return is approved, we will provide you with a return label.
Please note: Returns sent without prior approval and confirmation will not be eligible for a refund. Always wait for the return label.
Exchanges
If you would like to exchange your item for a different color, we will cover the cost of return shipping as well as the shipping of the replacement item.
Please note that exchanges are subject to stock availability.
Items must be returned unused, in original condition, and with all tags and packaging intact.
How to Exchange an Item
- Email support@mikaatelier.com.com with your order number, full name, and the color you wish to exchange for.
- Wait for our confirmation and instructions. Do not ship any items before you have received our confirmation and return label.
- If your exchange is approved, we will provide you with a return label.
Once we have received and inspected the returned item, we will ship the new color to you at no additional cost.
Warranty Claims
We stand behind the quality of every MIKA garment. If you discover a material or manufacturing defect, we will make it right.
Once a defect is confirmed, MIKA will-in this order and as most appropriate- arrange a repair, offer a replacement, or issue a refund if repair or replacement is not possible or proportionate.
What is covered
- Seams that split under normal use
- Fastenings or trims (e.g., hooks, buckles) that detach due to production faults
- Fabric defects present at delivery (e.g., weaving faults, holes, discoloration)
What is not covered
- Normal wear and tear (e.g., pilling, minor snags, fading)
- Improper care or cleaning (e.g., incorrect washing temperature, tumble-drying, ironing)
- Accidents or external impact (e.g., tears, stains, pet damage)
- Alterations or self-repairs that cause or contribute to the issue
How to Submit a Claim
Email support@mikaatelier.com with your order number, full name, a brief description of the issue, clear photos of the defect, and your preferred remedy (repair/replacement/refund).
Wait for our confirmation and instructions. Do not ship any items before you have received our confirmation and return label.
If your claim is approved, we will provide a return label for inspection/repair or issue a replacement. If neither repair nor replacement is possible or proportionate, we will refund the purchase price.
Please note that proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) is required.
Important
All returns, exchanges, and warranty claims must be pre-approved and accompanied by a return label provided by us. Items sent without approval will not be accepted for refund, exchange, or compensation.
Refunds
Once a return or claim has been received and approved, we will process your refund within 1-3 business days. The refund will be issued to the original payment method and is typically visible within 3-10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
